Dana Campbell’s diverse career as Costume Designer includes motion pictures and television productions ranging from period to contemporary dramas, comedies, specials, variety shows and reality programs. She recently completed her fifth collaboration with Director, Ernest Dickerson on the feature film “Double Play”. Campbell’s career includes designing the costumes for Director, Lasse Hallström’s romantic drama “DearJohn”, starring Channing Tatum, and Amanda Seyfried, and the hit comedy “Friday After Next’, later reuniting with Ice Cube and Director Marcus Raboy, for the raucous “Janky Promoters”. Other films credits include: “The New Daughter” with Kevin Costner, “The Art of War: The Betrayal” with Wesley Snipes, and “Johnson Family Vacation” starring Cedric the Entertainer.

Campbell received an Emmy for “Outstanding Costumes for a Variety or Music Program” for “Dancing with the Stars”, an honor shared with Randall Christensen. She also designed the costumes for the Emmy Award-winning HBO series “The Corner”, and Will Smith, and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s production of “All of Us". She received kudos from Variety for the authenticity of her work on the Hallmark Channel miniseries “Blackbeard”. She also worked on “Def Comedy Jam”, and designed the HBO Comedy Special “Cedric the Entertainer-Takin You Higher”. Her period costumes have been showcased in the American Playhouse production of “Daughters of the Dust”. Campbell has been the Costume Designer for five seasons of “Real Husbands of Hollywood”, and most recently designed the costumes for the series “Comedy Get Down” starring comedy Titans: Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, DL Hughley, Charlie Murphy, and George Lopez.
